Ray Raysor, Greenbelt activist and Franklin Park resident, was appointed to serve a two-year term on the Prince George\u2019s County Commission for Individuals with Disabilities. \u201cIf you live long enough, you will develop a disability,\u201d said Raysor, \u201cso, it\u2019s important to support these programs.\u201d<br \/>\nThe Commission brings together businesses, citizens and the government of Prince George\u2019s County to discuss and resolve disability issues within the county. It also works with county and state agencies to promote the needs and rights of individuals with disabilities and to ensure that the county complies with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act.<\/p>\n<p>The commission works to identify and resolve issues that county residents with disabilities encounter with public safety, accessibility, transportation, education, employment, housing and recreation.<br \/>\nRead more of this story in the April 26 News Review.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>by Anne Wallace On April 3, Rev.
